The female cat was found bloodied and badly wounded after disappearing from home owners in Ardleigh, Essex during the week. He was immediately taken to the hospital where it is known there are dozens of bullets lodged in his body.

"One bullet is in the sole of his foot made it difficult to move, and another bullet in the middle of the eye, causing the retina off."
According to a statement from the vet who treated him, Puss-Puss lucky to have survived because the bullet missed two of his spine.

"Very sad to see him under pressure, and I was very disappointed because he had now lost his eye," said Doug.
